BCF Lesson 9 - Dealing with Self (Part One) - Fervent Fervent

The purposes of this lesson are:

A. To contrast the truth of God’s Word regarding self with the erroneous view of the natural man regarding self-belittlement, self-exaltation, and self-pity

B. To contrast God’s Word and man’s philosophy regarding envy, jealousy, covetousness, and greed

C. To illustrate how your responses to problems indicate either a focus on pleasing God or pleasing self

D. To introduce a continuing case study that focuses on the use of biblical principles to face and deal with problems

E. To give you further opportunity to design and implement a biblical plan to overcome a specific problem in your life
