Pastor Jimmy Morales
Senior Pastor

Jimmy Morales is the founding pastor of Fervent (formerly Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain) in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1998, Jimmy with his wife, Kathy, answered God’s call to make disciples of Jesus Christ in northwest Las Vegas.

Pastor Jimmy is a follower of Jesus who loves God, loves people, and teaches the Bible faithfully. He is a trusted leader who unashamedly stands up for righteousness. Jimmy is co-founder of the American Christian Caucus and is a chaplain with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Pastor Jimmy holds a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Liberty University and is President of Calvary Chapel Bible College and Training Center in Dumaguete, Philippines. His passion is to reach the community, nation, and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jimmy and Kathy were married in 1991 and together, they have three adult children and three grandchildren. Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family, scuba diving, and riding his motorcycle.

Larry Henderson​
Executive Pastor

Pastor Larry grew up by the beaches of Southern California. He served 6 years in the US Marines and went on to work as a Senior SQL Database Administrator. In 1997, Pastor Larry married his beautiful wife Lisa and was blessed with 3 children, Rachel, Rebecca and Conner. In 2008, the family began attending FERVENT (formerly CCLM) and it was here where the Lord transformed the entire family. In 2014, Pastor Larry began to serve as the Administrator/Principal for our Christian Academy. The Academy finished its season in 2022 and Pastor Larry became the Family Pastor as well as leading the Men’s Ministry. The Lord has used the wisdom and experience Pastor Larry has gained to bring him to his current position as Executive Pastor.

David Medina
Worship Pastor

I am a native Californian. I was born in the Imperial Valley of Southern California, and raised in the Salinas Valley, also known as ‘The Salad Bowl of the World’ because of the agricultural resources in the area! I grew up in the church where my family was always a part of worship.

My upbringing in the church as well as my family’s involvement in music is what brought me close to the Lord as a teenager. I began to learn how to play the guitar in high school and began serving on the worship team. I received my music degree from Musicians Institute of Hollywood in 1998. I moved to Las Vegas in 2002, where I later met my wife Autumn and we were married in 2005 (best day of my life!)

I’ve been ministering at FERVENT (formerly Calvary Chapel Lone Mountain) since 2005. Autumn and I have two beautiful daughters Lillian and Emma. If you decide to visit our church, come say hi to me, I’ll be the guy with the guitar!

Jacob Perez
Family Pastor

Jacob Perez was born in Orange County, California and has called Las Vegas home since 2005. Raised in the church, he developed an early passion for serving young people, and strengthening the community. Jacob spent five years teaching 2nd–4th grade at Lone Mountain Academy, later served as Youth Pastor, and now serves as Family Pastor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UNLV. Jacob is happily married to his wife, Marlenne, and together they have three wonderful children.

Manny Reyes
Spanish Pastor

Manny Reyes was born in Ciudad Juárez Chihuahua Mexico. He came to the United States in 1971. He went to Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas Nevada and has worked in the Hotel business for many years. In 1996, as he was facing one of the most difficult moments of his life,

thinking he might die without hope, he gave his life to Jesus. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but have eternal life. As a new believer, he bagan serving at Calvary Chapel Vida Nueva, with
pastor Max Zuñiga. “After attending Bible studies for a while, I started as an usher, there I met my wife Elvia Medina, I started working as a teacher in Sunday school. Then I had the opportunity to assist Pastor Max in teaching and overseeing the church. In 2004 my wife was given the opportunity to take the position of worship leader at CCLM and we have been serving there ever since. I started serving as a teacher, doing missionary work with my family Elvia , Miranda and Aaron Reyes, and as a church elder. On August 14, 2016 he was ordained as pastor of the Spanish ministry. “My vision as a pastor is reaching the Latino community for Jesus by showing them love of Jesus, Because with Jesus on our side, we cannot be the same as we were before we met him. He changes your heart, gives you His Spirit, and teaches you to love your neighbor. And he fulfills his promises ”….

Ethan Collado
Youth Pastor

I was born and raised in Las Vegas and grew up in a Christian home. During my senior year of high school, I started attending Fervent, and it was here that God really put it on my heart to serve in full-time ministry.

I love being a part of this team and getting to walk alongside the youth and young adults as God does amazing things in their lives.

I’m married to my wife, Luana, who I met back in middle school at a church youth group. Together, we’re grateful to serve the Lord and be part of what He’s doing in our community.
