Unite in Prayer: Embrace Community Spirituality Online Fervent

Dear Church Family,

I am coming to you with a heavy heart and asking for your urgent, fervent prayers for my beautiful mother, Zulma Turcios Beltran. She is currently battling a severe UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and is already on her second round of antibiotics. She is in agonizing pain, and the doctors are completely at a loss and cannot find the reason why she is hurting so badly from this.

On top of this, she is having terrible difficulty with her tongue, making it painful and nearly impossible for her to chew, and the strong medications have deeply upset her stomach, leaving her unable to keep food down or eat properly.

My mom is my absolute rock—she has lovingly cared for me and managed my Type 1 diabetes since the day I was born, and she has been right by my side as I have fought my own recent battle with cancer as her son. Because she takes such good care of me, I am incredibly scared of this UTI spreading through her body. I need her to be okay.

I am asking this prayer warrior community to stand in the gap with us. Please pray in the name of Jesus that this infection is completely wiped out of her body and does not spread any further. Please pray for divine wisdom for the medical team to find the source of her severe pain and bring her immediate relief. Pray that these antibiotics work powerfully, that her stomach and tongue are completely healed so she can comfortably chew, eat, and nourish her body again, and that her strength is fully renewed. Please also pray for peace over my own heart to calm my fears as I navigate my own health recovery.
